On 20th November 2023, the COMPARE team, EC3 group and Unidad de Excelencia de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas Computacionales (U-CHASS) will organise an event on scientific mobility called “Jornada sobre movilidad científica y atracción de talento: Desafíos y oportunidades”. This event is co-funded by the University of Granada’s Research Plan and linked to the Visiting Scholars – Cassidy R. Sugimoto project.
In this conference we will explore the benefits and challenges that both institutions and researchers perceive when implementing the different mobility and talent attraction policies. Benefits both at institutional and academic level and challenges both in the implementation of these policies and in the reconciliation of scientific and professional agendas.
For this conference, we are privileged to have high-level researchers and policy makers: Esteban Romero Frías, Pedro A. Castillo-Valdivieso, Koen Jonkers, María Ros Izquierdo, Christian Chacua, Ana María Jaramillo, Jonatan Ruiz Ruiz, Cassidy R. Sugimoto and Vincent Larivière.
