The data provided to the University of Granada through this Portal or any other medium or support will be processed by the University of Granada, whose head office is located at Avda. del Hospicio, no number, 18071, Granada (Spain), as the party responsible for the files necessary for the attention and monitoring of requests and queries sent through the Portal, as well as the management and provision of services related to research, teaching, study and university extension. You will be duly informed of this when your personal data is collected, and your consent will be requested in the event that this is necessary in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter LOPD, by its acronym in Spanish) and its implementing regulations.

The University of Granada will only transfer your data when it is necessary for the proper exercise of its powers, as well as in the circumstances provided for by law in accordance with the LOPD, according to the information that will be provided to you when collecting your personal data. Any other transfer of data will be carried out after obtaining the unequivocal consent of the interested party.

The University of Granada ensures the strictest confidentiality in the collection and processing of data provided by its users. To this end, it will adopt the necessary measures to prevent their alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, in accordance with the categories of data processed, which determine the level of security applicable as required by Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, which approves the Regulations for the Implementation of the LOPD.

Users may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition by writing to the General Secretariat of the University of Granada at Avda. del Hospicio, no number, 18071 Granada (Spain), enclosing a photocopy of their National Identity Card or corresponding identification document.

Any use of personal data other than for the purposes for which they are contained in the University of Granada portal will be the sole responsibility of the person carrying it out and may be brought to the attention of the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Personal Data, without prejudice to any legal action that the University may take.

Prohibited acts and errors

Any user who is aware of any action which, in an irregular manner, may modify or alter the contents, infringe intellectual and industrial property rights, impair the proper functioning of or prevent access to this Portal, actions which are expressly prohibited, must notify the General Secretariat of the University of Granada of this situation by any of the means of contact provided on the Portal.
