Nicolás Robinson García

Nicolas Robinson-Garcia currently enjoys a Ramón y Cajal grant. He is a social scientist specialized on scientometrics and research evaluation.

Nicolas Robinson-Garcia is a researcher in the field of bibliometrics and research evaluation. He works as a Ramón y Cajal fellow at the Information and Media department at the University of Granada (Spain). He previously worked at Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics, TU Delft (Netherlands), the School of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology (United States) and at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) in Spain. He holds a PhD on Social Sciences from the University of Granada. He is member of the Steering Committee of the European Summer School for Scientometrics. He has published over 40 articles and book chapters in the field of bibliometrics and research evaluation, including in elite journals like Nature, Science or Plos One. He is Associate Editor on New Metrics and Open Science of the journal Scientometrics and member of the editorial board of Quantitative Science Studies and Research Evaluation.
