The EC3 reading club kicked back up last month before the beginning of semana santa. With the spring season approaching, the group got together again to discuss the most recent read for the month.
For March, the reading club read and elaborated on the paper «Pathogenic organization in science: Division of labor and retractions» by John P. Walsh. This organization theory of pathologies in science was talked upon by all the group members who attended. Presentations by Aoxia and Vicky were shown and talked about throughout the club meeting.
The next read for the month of April will be «In search of relevance: The changing contract between science and society» by Laurens K Hessels. This scientific and public policy paper should be an exciting one and the reading will be posted to the website shortly. We hope you enjoy our findings from this club and what is to come!
