Last Saturday the team decided to enjoy the sunny beginning of February and we went on a little hike through some of the most beautiful parts of the city. Since there are so many possible routes, it was hard to choose where to go, but Daniel Torres-Salinas took the lead and took us to La Alhambra, to Mirador San Nicolás and then to walk around the Albayzín.
It was an amazing opportunity to get to know each other better outside of the bibliometrics world (although we did talk a bit about work – it was inevitable). It was also a very enriching team-building experience given the international nature of the group. We learned a lot about Italian music thanks to Luca, about the Chinese New Year (which takes place this week!) thanks to Aoxia and about Argentine culture thanks to Vicky.
Unfortunately, none of us thought of taking any pictures. I guess we could say we were too busy living the moment. Here are, however, some pictures of the beautiful walk we took and of the beer tap of the bar we ended up in (of course, we ended up having tapas).
Let’s make this happen again soon!
Until then, enjoy this classic:
